Our 7th Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday, May 5, marked our 7th wedding anniversary.  It has been 7 years since we said our “I do’s” but we’ve known each other for 13 years now.  All-in-all, it has been wonderful.  God has been so good and continues to shower us his blessings.  His biggest blessing yet, would be having given us a wonderful daughter who has enriched our married life so much more.We had our celebration at Applebee’s and were serenaded by the wonderful staff with a special song and complimentary dessert.  Then we watched “Iron Man” at the cinema.  It’s very good, even better than Spider Man.  Glad that we watched it.When we got home, I gave my husband a greeting card and his present.  I thought of giving him the...

QATAR Web Awards was created to recognize excellence in web designers, developers and Website Owner, giving them an opportunity to showcase their work in a competition for the best website in each of designated 32 categories.

QATAR Web Awards winners will be announced in a prestigious Gala Dinner Ceremony which will include, Award Distribution, on the 21st of May.

Game Day Tuesday

I was bringing a small booklet of Halo 3 in the office which a colleague saw and took notice of. Although he hasn’t really kept up with all the gaming consoles, he was interested with what he saw. He started talking about how he and his brother got their first Atari Computer System (also called Atari VCS or Atari 2600) by saving and pooling their money. They bought the Atari Computer System from their cousin thinking they were going to get it cheaper but were mistaken and eventually paid more than the market price.

New Year Celebration

It is customary among Filipinos to await the New Year in their own homes.  That is why for most Pinoys, New Year’s Eve is spent at home.  Just like last year we had planned to celebrate the birth of the New Year in the comforts of our own home.  As usual, shopping includes different kinds of round fruits to symbolize abundance and prosperity for the coming year.  There should be 12 kinds of fruits in all but I didn’t strictly follow the tradition.  I guess I had about 7 kinds and that was it.  I didn’t want to bother myself anymore and look for 5 more kind since getting at 7 was already difficult enough.We would have wanted to prepare turkey but in our search...
