H1N1 in Qatar: Denied by The Supreme Council of Health
I've had some sources tell me about an email that is being passed around that a McDonald's branch in Al Nasser has been closed because somebody got infected with the Swine Flu or H1N1 Virus. This was supposed to be the first case of Swine Flu in Qatar. However I just got a SMS from QTEL which says that:
"The Supreme Council of Health denies the occurrence of H1N1 case in a restaurant, and calls for getting information from the right sources."
Well, we'll see what the papers say tomorrow. However, I'd trust the Council more than emails being passed around. Let's just hope that Qatar remains to be free from the H1N1 virus.
