Doha english Speaking Schoolwas established in 1971. It moved to the present site in 1979 when Queen Elizabeth II and HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani presided over the official opening. Sponsored by the British Embassy, it remains the leading British school in Qatar and maintain not-for-profit status, ensuring that all resources go into providing the best quality learning experiences for all.
