Busy, Busy, Busy
We've been quite busy since Saturday (June 14, 2008) since this would be our last week in Doha as we'd leave Doha for our annual vacation this Thursday!
Saturday (June 14) - Went to Jungle Zone in Hyatt Plaza Shopping Center as our treat for Xiane for her upcoming birthday (today! - June 17). We started with the Mountain Coaster in which Xiane was still afraid of the mummy that comes out just right before the ride ends. We then drove together, trying to avoid other drivers in Bumper Cars. Xiane and Mavis then rode the Mini Rodeo, which is basically a train ride. We tried the Magic Plane and I almost got dizzy. Xianelle wanted to ride the Super Jumper but was refused as she didn't meet the required height. So she asked me to ride the Flume Ride where we got wet! She took a liking to the Magic Plane and Pop Ups that she rode on them several times, by herself! She was even raising her hands when riding the Magic Plane while shouting and laughing at the same time. Mavis and I were reminded of the time that she rode Space Mountain in Disney with her Tita Tin.
Sunday (June 15) - We met with new friends Dennis and Chui Peng, along with Xiane's Classmate Tim and his sister Rachel (asked her if I could call her "Rach" and it was ok with her). My map reading skill failed me this time as I was in a hurry and just looked at the map that was sent to me, thinking I knew the location well enough. Took probably 30 minutes before we got to the place. It was great meeting them and being able to share concerns regarding bringing up kids. We ate at Bennigans and separated at about 9:30 PM. I'm sure we'd get together again when we come back from vacation.

Monday (June 16) - Had to prepare xiane's loot bags for her class for today. Went to Family Food Center to buy the bags and the "loot".
Tuesday (June 17) - Xiane's Birthday!
