Another Wii Gaming Tuesday
It was a day to settle who the best “sportsman” is. The last time we played, no one was a clear winner. This time, we settled that there should be a double round robin tournament for Tennis on the Wii and one for Boxing.
It was agreed that we would meet at 4:30 at the house. Nizam came first and while waiting for the guys, we decided to have some warm up by playing Bowling. Zaheed was panting as he came up to the flat complaining about the 5 flight of stairs he had to take. Since Srini already told me that he’d be arriving after 10 minutes, we started the Tennis match.

I do admit that I have the upper hand since I own the Wii and have more time playing with it than the other guys. I do commend Srini for at least beating me once on his service. Although he doesn’t want me to emphasize it, Zaheed never won any of his 3 matches.
Srini and Zaheed played some shooting and Laser Hockey as Nizam nad I were resting. We decided we’d play some boxing before we head out for dinner.

The final game was quite an interesting match. I floored Srini halfway to the first round and was hoping I’d knock him out again before the bell rings. However, I got knocked down before the end of the 1st round. I was expecting my Mii (what you call your character in Wii) to get up but it never did! I was shocked and knocked out on the fist round! Now you know why Srini was celebrating.
Anyway, we left the flat hungry and went to Souq Waqif for Nizam’s dinner treat at Sri Kebaya.
