Season Finales
After all the hullabaloo of the WGA (Writer’s Guild of America) Strike before the start of the year, we see ourselves watching the season finales of some of our favorite shows. This season, there have been a lot of great arcs and storylines on TV. There were some disappointing ones too. But overall, it’s just good to have all things sorted out between the WGA and the TV networks so we could go continue watching our favorite TV Shows.
Here are some of the season endings of our favorite TV shows. WARNING: Spoilers ahead (if you haven’t watched them yet)!!!
Survivor Season 14
It started off a bit boring as the “Favorites” were way too much for the “Fans” who were awestruck with their idols. But half way, it became so interesting after all the blind sides in each episode. We were rooting for Amanda as she was in the zone and won the challenges in the last 3 episodes. However, it eventually went down to having more social skills and connecting to other contestants’ while in the island. Winner: Parvati.
Smallville Season 7
It’s been a boring season. The introduction of Kara didn’t really add much to the plot. There were the usual “Meteor Freak” episodes and some development with Lana and Clarks’ relationship. Braniac comes back but eventually perishes. In the final episode, after Lex finds the location of the” Visitor”, Clark comes face to face with Lex in the Fortress of Solitude with Lex eventually destroying the Fortress.
House Season 4
Each episode is great on its own. After losing Foreman and Chase and with Cameron leaving, House manages to get new physicians to torture; Taub, Kutner and “Thirteen”. Wilson eventually develops a relationship with “Cutthroat Bitch”/Amber. But with only 16 episodes for the season, we want more. The final two episodes were nerve wracking and tension-filled. The finale was sad, touching, emotional yet powerful. It proves that House really does have a heart and eventually realizes his friendship with Wilson means everything to him. Guilt has its way of creeping into you. By the way, “Thirteen” does have Huntington’s disease.
CSI (Miami) Season 6
The start of the season had Horacio “One Liner” Caine finding out that he has a son, eventually leading to more complications at the end of the season. Kelly bears the brunt of the mistakes of Eric which leads to her kidnapping. Eric Wolfe rejoins the pack and was reinstated. Alexx, the medical examiner decides to quit after having her son involved in a crime. We last see Horacio face down on the runway, wiggling legs and sunglasses broken. With all the deaths happening across the CSI shows, would this be the end for Lieutenant Horatio Caine? Has Wolfe got anything to do with this?
CSI (Las Vegas) Season 8
After Sara left last season, we see more and more Minor characters stepping up and getting more on cam appearances. There’s nothing much going on with the other main characters except for Warrick. Warrick becomes entangled with the mob and got show twice (head and chest) by the undersheriff.
CSI (New York) Season 4
It’s Mavis who watches this one but has been increasingly catching my attention as well. On the finale, Mac enters a bank to prove that the kidnapper didn’t kill the manager of the bank he was supposed to rob. The robber then convinces Mac that he didn’t kill the guy and he was being forced into the situation to save his family. Later, we find out that Mac got duped and he was lied to while driving the robber to his escape.
American Idol Season 7: There were great singers and then some. We get to hear more rambling from the 3 judges. On the final four performances, Paula Abdul tries to judge a performance that hasn’t occurred yet. Randy was too obvious in pushing people to vote for Archuletta, whose dad got banned from practice as he was involving himself too much. The David vs. David boxing theme on the finals wasn’t really needed. Cook eventually cooks Archuletta and win by 12 million votes. This was quite surprising as David Cook’s performances were deemed not up to par with his opponent by the judges the night before. We see the judges apologizing to Cook before the winner was announced. David Cook deserved to win!
