Resurrected
After a day of trying to contact our transport guy, I finally got a hold of him early Thursday morning. One theory of ours checked out, he was indeed in police custody that very day he didn’t show up. I found out that CID had started to contact him Tuesday night regarding the car that he was using, which was owned by a friend who is on vacation. Apparently, the vehicle has some problems which he himself couldn’t elaborate on. I don’t know whether he too was kept in the dark or he just didn’t want to give details about it.
In any case, we are just so relieved that he has finally surfaced. At least our worries of him not coming back anymore had been immediately dispelled. I’m just glad that we didn’t have to look for another transport guy after all and here’s hoping that everything will go smoothly from here.
