If you’re planning to get a Driver’s License in Qatar, you may have more than 3 months to plan for it. Getting the actual driving lessons is quite different from registering to get the lessons. Once you register, you have to specify what time you would like to take the classes. Usually, since the person wanting to get the license has work, one would hope to get early morning classes, 6 AM to 7 AM, before he goes to work. Or one would opt for the mid day classes where they may have a break from work, or at the end of the day. From there, the driving schools try to assign you a slot/day where you can start your lessons. And then the waiting begins. Waiting period means the amount of time you have to wait before they give you your lessons. Here are some average waiting period for the more requested times.

6 AM – 7 AM   - 3 Months
12 PM – 1 PM  - 1 ½ months
2 PM – 3 PM    - 2 Months

And they also offer after-school classes but then you have to pay extra.
