Cost of Living in Qatar 2007 - Canned Goods, Infant, Laundry
For those asking about the cost of living in Qatar, I’m sure they want to know how much typical grocery stuff costs. For those deciding to work in Doha, Qatar and moving here, this list would give you an idea of how much you need to spend for your grocery in a month. This would help you in your computation of your cost of living allowance as well as deciding if the salary being offered to you is enough.
We’ve done this last year and posted an Excel file with a list of grocery items and their costs from different Qatar supermarkets and hypermarkets. For now, we only gathered the prices from Lulu Hypermarket but would probably gather prices from other hypermarkets too. There are several additions from the previous list like Baby Diapers, Baby Milk, Rice, and an expanded list for Laundry/Cleaning products. We would also be posting a list for Meat, Fish, Juices, Milk and Vegetables once we get more time.
