Wii Fit is coming your Way

Wii Fit
The active-play phenomenon started by Wii Sports now spreads to your whole body thanks to the pressure-sensitive Wii Balance Board (name not final), which comes packed with Wii Fit. The board is used for an extensive array of fun and dynamic activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and games. Many of these activities focus towards providing a "core" workout, a popular exercise method that emphasizes slower, controlled motions. Family members will have fun staying active and talking about and comparing their results and progress on a new channel on the Wii Menu.
Nintendo just announced on E3 that they would be releasing a Pressure sentive board for the Wii. At the moment, they're calling it the Wii Balance Board. Looking at the video, there are some interesting stuff you can do with the Wii Balance Board. As it gauges your feets movement through its sensitivity, you can play Goalee for a soccer game, do some yoga and balancing, push ups, and even hula hooping! I'm not sure if they're as fun as playing with other players but the point is making use of the Wii to keep you healthy. Right.

What may be interesting is how would all these Wii pressure sensitiveboard and the motion- waggling controls can interact for other games to be developed. There are a lot of possibilities! For now, I think I'd hold off buying the Wii Fit and the Wii Balance Board until they make use of it in a more interesting way.
