Exercising with the Wii

Noy playing Boxing on the Wii
Noy trying to be Iron Mike Tyson
We brought the Nintendo Wii to str's yesterday so we could let them play some and have them try it. Here are some photos of Noy working his way up to being a Pro in Boxing (part of Wii Sports). After about 10 matches, you could see him sweat it out as he punches his opponents, giving them hooks and upper cuts. Sadly, he didn't make it to Pro as he got knowcked down on his 600+ level (you need 1000 point to become a Pro).

Look at that Stance! Right hook connecting!

My other Wiimote would be arriving next week so we could actually play against each other. I also have a Wii Play pre-ordered at Target but delivery has been moved to Feb. 22-28. This would give us 3 Wiimotes!

The only thing that dissapoints me about the Wii is the lack of Online play. You couldn't play with an opponent who also has a Wii. Unlike Xbox/Xbox 360, you could always play with another "human" instead of an AI though online play. I'm not sure if Wii would be able to do this in the future but would be a good come on. For now, it's a good family console.

By the way, anybody willing to lend me a copy of Zelda (Wii)? Or anybody willing to buy the Wii from me? Contact me...Selling mine for 1750QR (they're selling the same unit at the Souk for at least 2000QR!). No haggling please!
