My 30th Birthday Too
On Saturday, my birthday itself, instead of going to the mall as planned, we had to bring Xiane to the Children’s Emergency Clinic. She had fever and she was complaining of a painful throat. We thought that it is better to see a doctor earlier rather than wait for days not knowing what’s making her sick. From the doctor’s we went to Opera Café at The Mall and bought 2 small cakes for me to blow(blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu, wish I bought 2 blueberry cheesecakes!). Then we went to McDonald’s drive thru for our lunch. We were supposed to eat our food there but Xiane was just too tired so we just had to take it home. Why McDonald’s? Well I’ve been craving for freshly-cooked fries, that’s why. So there Tian took photos of me blowing the candle, then we had lunch and took a nap. Tian had to leave at 3 for tennis. As soon as he came home I started cleaning up in the kitchen and finished at past 8. We had the cakes for dinner. At the end of the day I was dead tired. I could barely watch tv. So that was how I spent my birthday.
