The World of Blogging
It hasn’t been long since I started writing for our blog. It was actually my husband who encouraged me to get into it. At first it was difficult to start writing, because being new in it makes you a bit conscious of what to write. You always think whether it is interesting enough for others to read. But now, most of the time I write whatever comes to mind. I’m just thankful that somehow, people get interested and more importantly, what we write on the blog become useful for some.
Recently, Tian stumbled upon the blog of KC Concepcion and I’m sure a lot of people did search for her blog since the media frenzy over her visit to her estranged dad, Gabby Concepcion in the US. Well, who wouldn’t be interested, she is one of the most sought after celebrities, in the Philippines, with her mom Sharon Cuneta being the “megastar”. But in fairness to her she’s already made a name for herself and it is her mystery that has made people go crazy about her. Of course, I too had to visit her blog. It’s just amazing what the internet can do and more recently what “blogging” can do. It has simply been one of the best ways to communicate, express your thoughts and feelings, and share all sorts of information (which are hopefully accurate and factual) in a larger scale. Having seen KC’s blog, as well as the blogs of other celebrities like Lea Salonga, Jim Paredes, Camille Prats, makes your feel that they are as human as you are though they’d be the most popular, the richest, etc. They too, like you and I need a space to tell stories about the facts, the ups and downs of life and even “the unfinished business” in one’s life. The world of blogging has simply made me realize that I am in good company.
