House Arrest
My husband's long Eid holiday started yesterday. Including 2 weekends, he has a total of 9 days off. That's just terrific, right? Not quite. Xiane has been sick for more than a week now and is just on her way to recovery. The cough and colds decided to stay a bit longer. We we're actually planning to do a lot of things during the long holiday like taking Xiane to the zoo, having a picnic at the corniche, riding a dhow, strolling at the mall and a whole lot more. But right all these will have to wait till our daughter gets really well.
Well at least we are spending time together watching dvds and sleeping to our heart's desire. Having my husband at home for more than a week also gives me the chance to catch up with the chores that piled up since Xiane got sick. Although Tian and I are still hoping that we could still push through with our plans before the holiday ends, Inshallah!
