NBC's Heroes
Mavis and I have been waiting patiently each week for each episode of Heroes to come out. It's the new TV Series to hit the tube and it's a hit. The show is created and produced by Tim Kring, creator of Crossing Jordan. Crossing Jordan is more of a linear, one -sided story so developing Heroes is quite new to the guy. But it seems that he's quite competent with his storytelling of Heroes, which is a multiplex of cast, characters, stories and agendas. Basically, Heroes is a story of several individuals slowly discovering their powers and their struggle to adapt with the reality of this along with the impending destruction of the city through a precognized future. Yeah, some might say it's like X-men but what makes it different is the characters have more depth and more complex. NBC just signed the show a full season meaning that it really is a hit among TV viewers.
Anyway, my personal favorite character is the Japanese Hiro who can control time. The one with the freaky power would be Claire who has the power to heal and reanimate after death.
