Today was my schedule for the driving test. After 11 days of driving lessons I finally took the test today. It was a series of four tests: an oral test for traffic and road signs, L-parking, pocket parking and the actual road test. Unfortunately, I guess I wasn’t that prepared as I thought I was. I only got to pass 2 tests, the signs and the L-parking. I must have been pretty nervous that I messed up even before I reached the parking space that was provided for me for the pocket parking. I was too concerned about the distance on my right, between the car and the poles that I overdid it. The side of the car touched the poles. What’s worse was the same thing happened when I was given another chance. So that was it, I was told to wait in the office, meaning I blew my chance today. Having failed the pocket parking rips me off the chance to do the road test. I asked my husband to fetch me. I feel so bad that I failed him but ultimately I am so disappointed with myself. It was a crazy day there at the driving school, with all the police around, one can easily get intimidated and I guess I did. Too bad it took a toll on my performance. I have no one to blame but myself though. Tomorrow I have to go back there and get another schedule. I hope too that the next schedule would come before my daughters first day in school on the 17th. But most of all, I hope and pray that this time I’ll be able to make it.
